A new parking policy for Mumbai is being brought out by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) under which BMC plans to give permits to local residents to park vehicles on road. The BMC is compiling a list of roads where residents can park vehicles on one side of the road. They will then be given annual permits allowing them to park their cars there; no other vehicle can park on these roads.
