The Haryana government on February 5 has urged the Centre to initiate steps to make policy changes to make available sufficient quantity of coal for power plants situated in the state, Haryana Power Minister Capt Ajay Singh Yadav said.

Policy changes to boost investment in wind energy
To give a fillip to investment in India's wind energy sector the Union Ministry for New and Renewable Energy has suggested certain policy changes. The Ministry wants to reintroduce Ăâaccelerated depreciation mechanismĂâ which had earlier helped grow the wind energy industry.
