Gopalpur Port to reopen by Aug 30
The Gopalpur Port is likely to restart operations from August 30, said Commerce and Transport Minister Ramesh Chandra Majhi. The port was closed after cyclone Phailin which struck Odisha coast on October 12, 2013.
Need to amend old laws on ports: Nitin Gadkari
The Government will bring a new legislation to replace outdated laws relating to ports as part of efforts to ensure that regulations keep pace with time, Union Minister for Shipping and Roads Nitin Gadkari said.
