Web-based clearance for projects
The Project Monitoring Group (PMG) in Cabinet Secretariat, Government of India will be launching the web-based clearance system for issues pertaining to environment, mining and coal linkages of the stalled projects beginning September this year.
Web portal for project monitoring in Kerala
Kerala has set up a web portal on the lines of the Project Monitoring Group (PMG) of the Cabinet Committee on Investments at the Cabinet Secretariat in New Delhi. The portal will monitor the implementation of projects with an outlay of up to Rs 1,000 crore.

Initial numbers flowing into the cabinet secretariat suggest that nearly 90 per cent of the investment in large projects, which were held up and have now been cleared, have materialised.
Transparent moves
In a bid to try and get to the root cause of the delays that were stalling the implementation of projects in the country, the Project Monitoring Group (PMG) under its Chairman Anil Swarup has initiated a process to digitise the whole procedure through which clearances happen. "Our job at the PMG will get reduced as then we will know why the delays are happening and the clogging will not happen.

PMG clears Rs 5 lakh cr worth projects
The Project Monitoring Group (PMG) set up by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has cleared Rs 5.1 lakh crore worth of infrastructure projects in less than a year, prompting over a dozen states keen on setting up similar monitoring cell in their respective states.

Investors want the mandate of Project Monitoring Group (PMG) widened to ensure timely decisions on their investments. At a conference, Anil Singh, Senior Vice-President and Managing Director, DP World, enquired if the mandate of PMG would also be widened to look into FDI already made in the port sector.
PMG clears hurdles in 84 mega projects
The Project Monitoring Group (PMG), attached to the Cabinet Secretariat, sorted out problems for some 84 mega projects totalling Rs 3.71 lakh crore investments in the past seven months since the inception of the group.
