WorldĂÂŽs largest solar-powered desalination plant is being planned by the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The proposed plant would process more than 22 million gallons of potable water per day, according to reports. UAE said that the solar-powered new plant at Ras Al Khaimah emirate would also generate 20 MW of electricity.
