Billionaire Anil Ambani-led Reliance Group will develop a 6,000 megawatt Solar Power Park in Rajasthan, a plan that has potential to attract an investment of Rs.60,000 crore. ´The Reliance Group has signed an MoU to develop Solar Park and Solar Projects of 6,000 MW capacity, spread over nearly 30,000 acre, over next six years, with a potential to attract investment of about `60,000 crore in Rajasthan,´ Ambani said.

Adani plans Rs.20k cr clean energy park in Mundra
Adani Group plans to set up an Integrated Renewable Energy Park at Mundra in Kutch district, close to its port and SEZ. The park, if it comes into existence, would be the first of its kind and will need an investment of Rs 20,000 crore.
Maharashtra working on solar policy
Maharashtra would now have a solar policy which would introduce the concept of solar power parks, encouraging private solar power generation in the State. The policy would also suggest making solar geysers mandatory for buildings and solar panels on all the government establishments in the State.
Alstom T&D India bags Rs.151 crore order

Orissa’s solar policy to be framed in two months
A comprehensive solar policy is going to be framed in in Odisha, the State government has decided to this extent to promote solar power generation in a big way. The State Department of Science & Technology, which is finalising the policy has targeted solar power production of 80 mw in three years.
