In Pune's Dattawadi area students of BN College of Architecture and other NGOs conducted a survey recently and asked the residents about their particular needs with regard to the city roads. The survey was part of the pilot survey for sustainable road design for the city.

The Kerala government has sanctioned Rs 42 lakh to its Roads and Bridges Development Corporation of Kerala (RBDCKL) to conduct survey and prepare a detailed project report (DPR) of 14 out of the 15 railway overbridges (RoBs), sanctioned by the Railways this year.
