Tata Power forays into South Africa
Tata Power expects commissioning of its two South African wind projects, having total capacity of nearly 229 MW, by fiscal year 2017. Tata Power, which has an installed generation capacity of 8,560 MW, is developing the two projects through an equal joint venture with Exxaro Resources.

Tata Power is setting up 160 MW wind projects throughout the country. Tata Power already has an installed wind energy generation capacity of 398 MW with projects across Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.
