Maersk gets award for handling highest traffic at JN Port

Maersk Line (India & Sri Lanka cluster), the core liner shipping firm of the AP Moller – Maersk Group, and the leading container shipping company in the world, received an award for highest box traffic at the JN Port Trust at 6,92,850 Twenty Foot Equivalent Unit (TEU) for the fiscal year of 2012 -2013.

The award was given to Maersk Line on July, 5, 2013 in Mumbai on the occasion of JN Port Silver Jubilee Anniversary celebration. Franck Dedenis, Managing Director, Maersk Line received this award from GK Vasan, Union Minister of Shipping, India.

Franck Dedenis, Managing Director for Maersk Line (India and Sri Lanka) said that this is an extremely proud and happy moment for us at Maersk Line. This award is a reflection of the faith that our consumers have put in us over the previous year and is also a reaffirmation of our commitment to the Indian market.
