Engineering and construction firm Technip, which specialises in subsea construction, has got a 100-million euro contract from Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) to build an onshore oil and gas terminal in Andhra Pradesh.
The terminal, with a capacity of 6 mmscmd, will be set up at Odalarevu on India´s east coast as part of the integrated development of ONGC´s Vashishta and S1 fields. Technip said its scope of works include design, detailed engineering, procurement, fabrication, testing, installation, pre-commissioning and commissioning of new onshore terminal facilities that would be integrated with the existing terminal. The hydrocarbons extracted from the fields would be transported to the proposed onshore oil and gas terminal for processing.
