The Telangana Government has given administrative approval for the construction of 20 multi-level flyovers and junctions at an estimated cost of Rs 2,631 crore in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation limits.
This underlines its ambition to transform the state capital into a global smart city. The government gave the green signal to the project under the Strategic Road Development Plan (SRDP), after accepting suggestions from a high level committee. The project will be taken up under EPC tenders with deferred annuity payments.
