While delays are the norm in every Metro project, Bangalore Metro's Phase I has been facing clearance issues after portions of the track were not passed for safety. This may mean a Rs 50 lakh loss for every day of delay. Bangalore has sensitive mixture of soil, the tunnel boring process is more tedious than other cities. DPR is ready for Phase II of Namma Metro.
