VA TECH WABAG, a leading pure‑play multinational water management company, has secured a medium‑sized order for an effluent treatment plant (ETP) in the ₹1-2.5 billion range from Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL). The contract covers the design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, erection and commissioning of an ETP at the Dhirubhai Ambani Green Energy Giga Complex (DAGEGC) in Jamnagar.

The proposed ETP, scheduled for completion in 13 months, will incorporate chemical and biological treatment using state‑of‑the‑art technologies, along with sludge treatment featuring low‑temperature drying for efficient sludge management.
