PTC India has entered into an initial agreement with a sovereign wealth fund to create a private equity (PE) fund with a start-up capital of $200 million. The fund will aim to buy stakes in power projects in India and in coal mines overseas. PTC Group will invest $100 million in the joint venture company as its share of the seed capital.
