The Haryana government is mulling on strengthening all national and State highways, district roads and roads connecting five or more villages. While stating this in Kaithal on March 17, Haryana Public Works (Building and Roads) Minister Randeep Singh Surjewala said as part of the efforts Kotputli-Rewari-Dadri-Bhiwani Corridor costing Rs 1,350 crore is being constructed.
The corridor would give a boost to business and would also lessen the load of vehicles on Delhi-Chandigarh National Highway, Surjewala said. Besides this, the Kaithal-Ambala road and Ladwa-Yamunanagar road would be four-lained, he said.
All this developmental projects would be completed by the end of this year, the minister added.
