Nitish lays foundation for Rs 30 cr bridge on Kamla Balan

Bihar Chief minister Nitish Kumar visited a remote village, Thengha, under Tardih block of the Madhubani district and laid the foundation stone for a bridge over the Kamla Balan river on the second day of his Seva Yatra on May 18. The bridge would connect Thengha village with Madhepur block headquarters in Madhubani district.

With the completion of this Rs 30.22 crore bridge, inter and intra-district road communication between Tardih and Ghanshyampur blocks (both under Darbhanga district) and Madhepur block (under Madhubani district) would be established. The CM informed the people gathered to listen to him in Thengha village that the bridge would be completed by July 2015.

During his address, the CM said his government is following the policy of justified development in every area of this state. “Providing education to each girl in the government’s motto as it will create empowerment of women, he said adding since the NDA has come to power in Bihar, Mithilanchal continues to be on the path of development in every sector.
