In Mumbai, construction work on the much needed Kherwadi flyover on Western Express Highway (WEH) is all set to begin, the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has announced. The construction on the flyover is to take at least 18 months.

The development authority had floated bids for the 580-metre-long flyover at an estimated cost of Rs 21.96 crore in last September 2012.

This will be one of the flyovers on the WEH that will ensure a smooth ride from Dahisar check naka to Worli, if one uses the Bandra-Worli Sea Link.
