Nagpur’s airport runway to be re-carpeted

The runway re-carpeting work of Nagpur’s Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport is scheduled to take place between December 15, 2013 and May 15, 2014. The last re-carpeting was done in 2004 and in between the traffic has increased manifold.

Due to the work, two IndiGo flights will be affected. A request for notice to airmen (NOTAM) regarding the work has been sent by MIHAN India (MIL), the airport operator to the air traffic control (ATC) which is under Airports Authority of India (AAI).
