Gujarat Transport Minister V Rupani has said that the State government plans to construct ´world class´ bus stations across the State.
´The GSRTC bus station has been constructed under a public-private partnership at the cost of Rs 110 crore,´ Rupani said after visiting a bus station.
It was inaugurated by then Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi in February 2014, he said. ´It was a dream of the then Gujarat Chief Minister and now Prime Minister Narendra Modi to construct world class bus stations in Gujarat. Construction of more world class bus stations are being planned across the State,´ Rupani said. The purpose is to provide airport-like facilities to thousands of passengers who travel by State transport buses, he said.
