XDN525 push benches from machinery manufacturer XCMG have served in Malaysia for the first time in the sewage treatment project in Kuala Lumpur.
As a major infrastructure construction, the sewage treatment project in the city and suburbs of Kuala Lumpur is a new endeavour to upgrade the existing aerated lagoon sewage treatment facility, modifying the existing oxidation ponds into modern sewage treatment facilities and improving the standards of health and sanitation in the region.
In Malaysia’s long wet season, XCMG’s XDN525 push benches are not only fighting with the heavy rainfall, but also with time.
A powerful product representing the companyÂ’s latest technological achievements, the XDN525 push benches successfully completed three sections of pipe-jacking construction in two months, conquering the complicated geological environment while meeting the tight construction schedule.
“The XDN525 push bench can move forward 15 meters every day, winning applause from our clients,” said Kong Qinghua, general manager of XCMG Foundation Construction Machinery Co Ltd. “This improvement in local infrastructure makes it possible for the sewage treatment facilities in Kuala Lumpur to discharge cleaner treated water into rivers, and XCMG is very proud to be part of a project that benefits the Malaysian people and the environment.”
Over the years, XCMG has provided an extensive range of machinery equipment and solutions to assist infrastructure projects worldwide, including the China-Thailand high-speed railway project spanning through 10 provinces in Thailand , the construction of National Highway 6 in Cambodia , the Venezuela Housing Project in Caracas, Venezuela , the Mombasa-Nairobi Railway in Africa and more.
“Supporting infrastructure construction projects in developing countries is essential, which not only improves living conditions and protects the environment, but also stimulates economic development and creates new job opportunities,” Kong said.
