The Bengaluru‑headquartered company is a pioneer in robotic solar panel cleaning systems and operations and maintenance (O&M) services for the solar energy industry.
In a development that reinforces the evolution of India’s clean‑tech and deep‑tech startup ecosystem, Aegeus Technologies announced its listing on the BSE SME Index on August 11.
The Bengaluru‑headquartered company is a pioneer in robotic solar panel cleaning systems and operations and maintenance (O&M) services for the solar energy industry.
The listing marks a significant milestone, making Aegeus Technologies the first portfolio company of Brigade REAP—India’s pioneering real estate and urban tech accelerator—to go public. Brigade REAP mentors startups across PropTech, ConTech, CleanTech, and UrbanTech, helping them scale through industry pilots, investor access, and strategic guidance.
Abhay Garg, Chief Mentor & Head, Brigade REAP, said, “Aegeus Technologies’ listing is a proud moment for Brigade REAP and a validation of the kind of deep‑tech, mission‑driven companies we mentor. From day one, Aegeus stood out for solving a real, tangible problem in the solar energy space with strong engineering fundamentals and a scalable business model.”
Aegeus designs, assembles, and tests robotic systems at its two dedicated manufacturing facilities in Bengaluru, where every robot is fabricated and field‑tested before deployment.
Its solutions address a critical need in the solar energy value chain by providing autonomous and semi-autonomous robotic cleaning and maintenance systems that improve energy yield while reducing water usage and manual labour dependency.
The IPO was priced at ₹105 per share and listed at ₹124.50, delivering an 18.57 per cent premium.
The listing is expected to strengthen Aegeus Technologies’ capital base, enabling continued investment in R&D, manufacturing capacity, and expansion of its O&M service footprint across India’s rapidly growing solar energy sector.
