ABB India and IIT Madras collaborate to develop multi-village micro-grid models
ABB India and IIT Madras will collaborate to develop a power management system to optimise the operation of multiple micro-grids, with and without grid connection, while managing electricity supply to villages. This system will also enable the integration of individual solar PV rooftops to a village micro-grid.
Centre plans integrated public transit hubs

Over 12 lakh houses sanctioned for urban poor

Strategic Petroleum Reserves created at 3 locations
Minister of State (I/C) for Petroleum & Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan has informed the Rajya Sabha in a written reply that under the Strategic Petroleum Reserve project Phase-I, underground rock caverns for storage of 5.33 MMT of crude oil at three locations, viz. Vishakhapatnam (1.33 MMT), Mangalore (1.50 MMT) and Padur (2.5 MMT) have been created.

Govt, AAI ink deal for Patna airport revamp
The Airports Authority of India (AAI) and the Bihar government have agreed in principle on exchanging 13.5 acres of land for expansion of PatnaÂ’s Jayaprakash Narayan International Airport terminal building. AAI will spend Rs 850 crore on the new two-storey building with aerobridges.
