In Bangalore’s Jalahalli the four-kilometre HMT road stretch, connecting Tumkur Road to the area, will be repaired soon. Bangalore Mayor BS?Sathyanarayana promised in this regard when a large number of residents, gathered during his inspection of the road. The residents complained to the Mayor about the bad state of the road.
Sathyanarayana directed the chief engineer of the basic road infrastructure wing of the Brihat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) to complete the repair work within the next 10 days. The Mayor asked the engineer concerned for a detailed project report to be submitted with details about converting the existing 40 feet road into an 80 feet road.
