Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has sanctioned plans to construct 33 foot over bridges (FOB) across the city of Mumbai. While BMC will not be shelling out their own money for this construction, these FOB’s will be constructed by the private builders in lieu of advertising revenues. The proposal has already received a nod in order to reduce the pedestrian vehicular conflict in the city. These FOBs will be ready for use by this year end.
