Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda inaugurated the Ranchi-Patratu road on November 21. The 35.27 km road is constructed at a cost of Rs 203 crore. The road passes through Patratu valley and around 16.6 km of the project is four-lane and the rest is two lane. The road has 10 high mast lights and six bus bays.

SC asks J&K to build safe road to Amarnath pilgrims
The Jammu and Kashmir government has been asked by the Supreme Court on November 22 to pave all the passage from Panchtarni to Amarnath holy cave with pre-fabricated cement tiles to ensure that pilgrims do not slip on the way.
Tiruchi’s alternative alignment for bypass is still elusive
It is still uncertain the new bypass road that is to connect the Tiruchi-Madurai, Tiruchi-Dindigul and Tiruchi-Karur national highways on the outskirts of Tiruchirapalli city. UP has highest road projects worth Rs 55k cr: Assocham
