Govt clears 3 parking lot projects
Under the revised parking floor space index (FSI) policy, the Maharashtra government approved three parking lot projects for over 1,300 vehicles. The new lots are at Altamount Road (behind Jaslok Hospital), and in Ghatkopar and Mulund (LBS Marg).
According to media reports, the lots would be a huge relief for people as parking space in the city
CREDAI requests govt to promote affordable housing
Real estate body CREDAI requested government to promote housing particularly affordable segment by scrapping the floor space index (FSI) restrictions and allowing vertical buildings. Lalit Kumar Jain, Chairman of CREDAI and CMD Kumar Urban development opined that this would enable the government meet the ever rising demand for housing in Mumbai which is facing tremendous land

Mumbai is all set to get its first seaplane service to MaharashtraÂ’s most popular tourist destinations from next June itself. So, those who wish to travel to Lonavala, Shirdi, Murud-Janjira or Bhandardhara, they will have the option of flying to the mentioned tourist spots. This will also include a commuter service from Juhu to Nariman Point for just Rs 750.

Air Works seeks govt’s sops for MRO biz
Expanding its portfolio, Air Works has announced the acquisition of French aircraft repainting company Aero Technique Espace (ATE) last month. This is Air Works' second such acquisition since it bought off UK-based Air Livery almost two years ago, becoming one of Europe's largest providers of aircraft paint services, its Managing Director Vivek N Gour said.
