CONCOR to ferry container cargo from KPCL

Krishnapatnam Port Company (KPCL) has signed an agreement with Container Corporation of India (CONCOR) for movement of container traffic from the east coast port in Nellore district of Andhra Pradesh to the hinterland. As part of the agreement, the two companies would jointly develop the required rail infrastructure to cater to the expected jump in traffic, once the container terminal at the port becomes operational at the end of July.
