Dighi Port is in discussions with IPCL to handle ethylene shipment, which is being currently managed from the JNPT near Mumbai. As of now, the port has one operational berth with a keel-length of 650 m that can accommodate three large ships, including the Panamax types, at a time. The port currently has 8-10 customers, including Posco Steel, which is its largest client importing steel coils, and coal and bauxite traders.
