The National Green Tribunal has pulled up the Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change (MoEFCC) for failure to implement its order to ensure power and coal companies followed clean coal norms. NGT’s Pune-based western zone bench comprising Justice Jawad Rahim and expert member Ajay Deshpande issued a show-cause notice to the Union Ministry on why punitive action shouldn’t be initiated against it.
