After a long wait, Hubli airport has now got the cargo service facility. Traders and the general public can easily export various commodities through the new facility. After much discussion and studying the feasibility, the Airports Authority of India (AAI) has recently given its approval for the cargo service.
The airport has flight service to Bangalore, Mumbai and Delhi. Now the air cargo facility has been added in the airport and courier companies-Blue Dart and DTDC-have been permitted to handle the cargo services. The airport will give permission to more companies to handle the cargo service, said the airport officers.
