IL&FS Engineering and Construction Co has bagged a contract from West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Co for construction of rural electrification infrastructure in 24 Parganas (N) district under Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Vidyutikaran Yojana XII Plan. The contract worth Rs 196 crore is to be completed in 24 months.
