The world-class services and facilities of DP World’s flagship Jebel Ali Port have once again been recognised at the annual Supply Chain and Transport Awards (SCATA) 2014. For the sixth year, the ‘Shipping Port of the Year’ has been awarded to Jebel Ali Port.
The award was received on behalf of DP World by Abdulla Bin Damithan, Commercial Director, DP World, UAE Region, at the SCATA 8th gala, attended by hundreds of supply chain industry leaders. DP World also won the Corporate Social Responsibility Award (CSR) for its outstanding contribution to the UAE community. The CSR award received by Saeed Al Zari, Account Manager, DP World, UAE Region, recognises DP World’s efforts to operate in a responsible manner in all aspects of its activities, which impact customers, employees, shareholders, communities and the environment.
