If the state government sincerely wants to carry out the Kolhapur Integrated Road Development Project (IRDP), it would have to invest a staggering Rs 342 crore. Experts in the project re-evaluation committee, which produced its final report, have estimated the total cost of the project at Rs 239.64 crore of which Rs 182.88 crore was actually spent on road development.
