Kochi port exports commercial explosives

The vessel mv BBC Victoria sailed from Kochi with three load containers of commercial explosives for Indonesia. The Indian Explosives company sent the first container cargo recently.

Hitherto, commercial explosives in break bulk form were being shipped only from Mumbai port, where the cargo was being loaded in vessels at the anchorage, about 10 nautical miles from the dock.
