The Logistics Interface Park (LIP), developed by Continental Multimodal Terminals Limited (CMTL), near Hyderabad has been notified as a private freight terminal by South Central Railway (SCR). It is a first-of-its-kind in the country to be notified under the new policy initiative of the Indian Railways. The LIP will handle domestic cargo in railway wagons and provide linkage for container trains to the gateway ports of JNPT (Mumbai), Chennai, Krishnapatnam and Visakhapatnam.
