L&T Infotech has bagged a $10 million deal to implement an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system at Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL). This is the first time an ERP platform is being deployed at RVNL, a public sector undertaking under the Ministry of Railways mandated with the task of fast tracking the implementation of rail infrastructure projects.
L&T Infotech, which is part of engineering conglomerate L&T, will deploy SAP ERP to integrate business operations within RVNL, according to a press statement.
