New Mangalore Port Trust (NMPT) has taken up the mechanisation of a berth and the development of another berth, according to PC Parida, NMPT Chairman.
Speaking at a function at New Mangalore he said the ´Make in India´ programme launched by the Prime Minister will spur development and increase the export-import trade for which Indian major ports should enhance their capacity and efficiency.
