After Namma Metro service added six-coach trains, the metroÂ’s earning shot up to Rs 13 million in a single day. After the completion of stage I of Namma Metro in Bengaluru, the number of average commuters has increased from 0.15 million to 0.36 million. In May 2017, its daily average income was Rs 3.5 million. In 2018 May end, it increased by 168 per cent to 9.3 million.
