Arjun Munda, Chief Minister of Jharkhand laid the foundation stone for construction of an international airport at Deoghar. The airport will be developed in two years in phases. In the first phase, the airport will handle smaller aircraft of ATR 72 category. In the second phase, the airport will have capacity to handle Airbus 321.
