NMDC Ltd has posted a net profit of Rs 1,347 crore for Q4 ended March 31, against Rs 1,962.1 crore for Q4 last year. Total income has decreased to Rs 2,828.58 crore for Q4, from Rs 3,884.49 crore a year ago.
Narendra Kothari, Chairman and Managing Director of NMDC, described Q4 as one of the toughest in recent times. The performance was impacted by relative lower output, lower prices, and falling demand. The company has posted a net profit of Rs 6,421.86 crore and an income of Rs 12,356.41 crore for the year ended March 31.
