Power Grid Corporation of India has commissioned the first 765-kV double circuit line from Nellore to Kurnool, thereby linking the South India Grid. According to a statement, in the past year Power Grid, by commissioning the 765-kV Raichur to Solapur line, has enabled One nation-One grid by integrating the Southern Grid with the rest of India.
