The Rajasthan Government will use surplus money of state PSUs for providing finance to power companies and sick units, a state minister said. The state government will set a finance corporation which will make available surplus money of PSUs to power companies and other sick units, the state cabinet decided today. The newly constituted body will be named as Rajasthan State Power Finance and Financial Services Corporation and surplus amount of the state PSUs will be kept with the corporation instead of banks, Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Arun Chaturvedi said. He said that the amount would be utilised to grant loan to sick units as well as power companies.
