Reliance Infrastructure received a Rs 7,200 crore order for engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) from Reliance Power (R-Power). The contract will require RInfra to construct R-Power’s 2,400 MW gas-based combined cycle power project at Samalkot. Power generation will begin by end-2011.
