The government has released an amount of Rs 3.40 billion for flood relief work in Assam. This amount includes Rs 2.39 billion by way of the first installment of central share of State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) and Rs 1.01 billion as the contribution from the Ministry of Northeast (DoNER).
