Godrej Locking Solutions and Systems (Godrej Lockss), the 120-year-young locking systems and hardware solution manufacturer and part of the Godrej Group, has announced that design-led innovation will be one of the core pillars of its business growth strategy along with new product offering, increased reach within domestic market and expansion to several key international markets.
By signing Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) worth Rs.8 lakh crore, Maharashtra managed to outpace other states in the recently held Make in India week. The MoUs being signed by various companies, and with these firms indicating their investment intentions, clearly showcases the faith being reposed in Maharashtra by the industry.
Better infrastructure is essential along the 3,000-km road link between India and the three South Asian countries-Bangladesh, Myanmar and China, said Adi Godrej, Godrej Group Chairman and CII president last week. Speaking to the media after flagging off the 12-day Bangladesh-China-India-Myanmar Forum for Regional Cooperation (BCIM) Car Rally in Kolkata, Godrej said road infrastructure should be improved since the link connecting these four countries was largely difficult terrain.
