For the Hyderabad metro rail project, L&T is close to striking a Rs 1,000-crore external commercial borrowing (ECB) deal with India Infrastructure Finance Co (IIFCL).
Chief secy suggests master plan for metro extension
During a meeting of the Special Task Force (STF), the Andhra Pradesh State Chief Secretary PK Mohanty suggested Hyderabad Metro Rail to prepare a master plan for future rail extensions. In order to meet the future needs of fast expanding city, Mohanty suggested the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority Commissioner NK Prasad and Hyderabad Metro Rail Managing Director NVS Reddy to develop a Master Plan for future Metro Rail extensions.

Kukatpally road in Hyd to be widened to 200 ft
For the first time, a Hyderabad city road Erragadda-JNTU, Kukatpally stretch is being widened to 200 feet (60 metres) by the Hyderabad Metro Rail (HMR) and Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC).
