Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC) has received an amount of Rs.248 crore, so far, from Central and state governments under Smart City project, whereas it has contributed Rs.200 crore from its side to the project this fiscal.

Widening of 85-ft road in Indore to be paced up
In Indore, the road widening work of 85-feet wide road from Marimata Square to Banganga Railway Over Bridge is expected to gain momentum after December 8. In the construction of the road, as many as 307 structures including 16 temples were identified as hurdles.
Chhavni road in Indore to be widened
In Indore, widening work of Chhavni road was scheduled to start from August 13. Widening of the road will lessen the traffic load on BRTS corridor.
Road from Chhavni Crossing on BRTS to Jagannath Dharamshala is going to be widened up to 60 feet. Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC) said that certain encroachments on Chhavni road will be removed as part of the road widening.
Indore roads to get facelift at Rs 20 cr
By spending Rs 20 crore, the Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC) will undertake beautification work of six major roads of the city. Tenders for the project have been floated. The cost of the project would be borne by the State government.
