The damaged roads in Jaipur will be repaired by the Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) from 15th of next September. JDA is to take up a total length of 2,500 km roads for repair in the city. While the JDA will repair 1,000 km length of roads by itself, repairs on the remaining 1,500 km will be given away to contractors.

Jaipur citizens to ride Metro train by June
Rajasthan has claimed that its capital Jaipur will see the Metro running this June itself. It claimed that the Metro had been constructed in a record time of less than two and half years thanks to the support from the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation. Govt okays financial closure for Jaipur Ring Road project

Rajasthan Road Project
For Rajasthan, the Union Government is likely to approve a Rs 4,355-crore project for construction of 1,300 km roads, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, CP Joshi, said. The construction of 1,869-km long roads in the state was completed at a cost of Rs 12,000 crore and work on an additional 1,243-km is underway, he said at a function in Jaipur.
