Non-major ports handled over one-third of the country's total maritime freight traffic during 2010-11.However, there was a sharp decline in the groÂwth rate during the year, compared to the previous year.The growth in cargo handled by non-major ports in 2010-11 was at 8.8 percent, against a record 35.7 percent increase in 2009-10 over the previous year.

The company plans to run the 4,000-MW Mundra unit at low capacity, at around 72-78 percent, and is considering blending the fuel with cheÂaper coal of low calorific value to reduce cost of generation.
