Re-carpeting of MG Road in Gurgaon to end in 6 months
The Haryana Public Works Department (PWD) has stated that the re-carpeting and re-construction of MG Road in Gurgaon will be completed within six months. The heavy vehicular traffic on the stretch was delaying the work, PWD authorities said. The work was taken up last month when Gurgaon and Delhi surburbs were witnessing heavy rains.
Blore road work needs multi-agencies’ coordination
In Bangalore, the much-awaited upgrade of roads along the Namma Metro stretch from Anil Kumble Circle on MG Road to Baiyappanahalli could take place very soon. DMRC to work on Kochi’s MG Road for metro rail
In Kochi, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has finalised plans to begin work on the city's heart line, MG Road, starting next weekend (June 29-30). While work is expected to start in the right earnest only after the Onam festival, the Metro agency will carry out the preparatory work during weekends till September on the stretch.
DMRC has sought the permission to close down the stretch on MG Road between Padma Junction and Abad Plaza hotel on June 29-30 to physically trace utility lines.
Elevated corridor on Gurgaon’s MG Road set to get nod
The Gurgaon Municipal CorporationĆās proposed elevated corridor at Maharana Pratap Chowk, MG Road in the city is likely to get government's approval in a weekĆās time. The move is expected after a high level meeting in Chandigarh, recently. The MCG had sent a detailed project report (DPR) for the government's approval three months ago that met some objections from the top brass.
